It's been awhile 

Hi again ..... I have been busy making thank you gifts and cards as I got Married to the love of my life last December and its taken me ages to get caught up ...

I have altered a bird house for Fernli Designs   This is the larger one that they make and its great fun and can be used as storage too .... 

Here it is before altering ...

This time i decided to give it a vintage folk style ... it was loads of fun ..... here is a link to the process video with instructions on how i painted the roses and the birds .... PROCESS VIDEO

Here is the finished Bird House

This was such a great project and much quicker than you would think to do .... I gave it as a baby gift for my nephew's baby daughter ... i simply wrote the babys name on one side of the roof and on the other i wrote her date of birth, time of birth, and weight at birth ...
