a few more things to share with you 

 I have to apologies for my photos I have NO idea what is going on ....OR how to fix them : (    this is a card challenge from Yvonne over at UK & Ireland craft swap group to make a card from only scraps ... it was fun  ..

This is for my in-laws who will be celebrating their 50th  wedding anniversary on 8th June 2013 ...

This clock I have made from foam board ... I cut the foam board to the size I wanted and hot glued it together ... the clock face is from Crafty-Emblies and it is mounted onto a jewellery display box ... I decided to mount it onto the box so you have easy access to the working parts of the clock and batterys .... it is fully working ... the pendulum does not work and is for decoration only it is made from a crystal necklace and a crystal pendant ..

Hello Again 

I hope you are all having a great weekend so far .... I have a few projects to share with you ..

PROJECT 1 .

This I made for a friend of ours who has finished paying off her mortgage .... A HUGE cause for celebration .... I certainly can not wait till ours is paid off thats for sure ...

OK ... so the project ... nearly all of this is made from Crafty-Emblies ... LOVE their stuff ... the kennel is a bird house which once assembled I painted brown then used a sharpie marker to give the wood grain effect on the walls.  The flower boarder is actually the balloon border which I just painted white and added a flatback pearl to the centre of each ... I LOVE the small toadstool it is just soooo cute ... I cut an arch from black card to glue to the front of the bird house to cover the small hole for the birds to get in and to make it into the doorway for the kennel.  The dog is a stamped image which I decoupaged to give it a more 3D effect.

I then decided to add the tree to the front and the lamp post to the back which I think finish it off.  I made a display box to put it in and our friends really LOVED it ... it was so much fun to make .

PROJECT 2

Project 2 is a gift keepsake card for my wonderful friend Heide Wright who lives in Australia .... she has just had a beautiful baby boy who they have called Krystian ...

This is from a template that I have and is made from card .... I made the highchair liner from fabric and lace and added lace to the outside of the chair too ...

LEJ DESIGNS CHALLENGE 

Hello again .... wow time goes SOOOOO fast ... I can't believe its got round to my turn again 

LEJ Designs new challenge has gone live today and the theme this week is 'Corners & or Borders ...

I chose to use the daffodils that have been drawn by Lindsey (LEJ Digi images) as it is suppose to be Spring .... Anyway I printed the image many times and once coloured I fussy cut them out and laid them on top of the lace down the right edge of the card (I appologise for the poor quality of the photograph ... I don't know what I did different this time )  I embossed the floral background and rubbed Treasure Gold wax over it....

So why not head over to LEJ and join in the fun ... don't forget if you use an image from LEJ simply put LEJ after your name when entering for a chance to win an extra goodie ....
