Week 5 of 7 Weeks of Christmas 2017

Hello ..... well hopefully you have just come from my youTube video and liked what i made ....

I know this weeks video was a bit 'different'  but I wanted to show you how sometimes things have a way of going in total different directions but to never give up as you will eventually do something that you are happy with ....  

After all that is what crafting is ALL about .... trying new things  ... experimenting and coming up with something new  and not everything works all the time  .... after all we can't learn if we don't make mistakes can we .... or as Thomas Edison said ' I didn't fail .... I found 10,000 ways it wouldn't work !!' 

so lets get to the photos of Week 5's Christmas Make ...

I really do love how this turned out  .... and as you can see I added a small little tinsel bow at the bottom .... It really needed a pop of colour ....

So the added bonus tutorial ( well you cant really call this on a tutorial can you lol ) 

As you can see these adorable little baubles can be added to most things they are so cute .... get your order in while you can as the seasonal catalogue they are in ends at the end of December 2017 ...

Week 4 of 7 weeks of Christmas

Well Week 4 is a cute little folded box made from 1 piece of 12 x 12 DSP ...

I found the tutorial on youTube by a lady called Stamping T .... link to original tutorial ...

Its a little hard to explain in writing so I would advise you to watch either Stamping T or my own tutorial on it as its much easier to follow ....

7 Weeks of Christmas .... Week 3

Hi .... welcome to week 3 .... Today I have another ornament for you to make  ..

Products Used ..

Smitten Mittens ... 144931

Many Mittens Thinlets .... 144672

Pretty Pines Thinlets ....141851

Card Stock 

Real Red .... 106578

Garden Green .... 108605

Soft Suede ....  119982

Starburst Punch .... 143717

Mini Tinsel .... 144636

Embossing Buddy .... 103083

Embossing powder (white) .... 109132

Die cut the pine branches using Garden Green ... Pine cones from Soft Suede .... and solid pine cones die for your glitter card 

Stamp and heat emboss the mitten stamp then die cut out 

All you need to do now is assemble it all together and you are done ...

7 Weeks Of Christmas 2017 .... Week 2

Welcome back to my blog and for joining me on Week 2 ... Today I wanted to make a Christmas Cracker box to hold a small bottle of wine ...

Using the Stampin' Up Envelope Punch Board and some GORGEOUS Paper from 'Year Of Cheer'

Make sure when you measure your bottle .... add 2 1/2 inches to the top and 1 1/2 inches at the bottom .

This is such a quick and easy make and really does make your gift look amazing ..

The flower is made from the punch out bits when doing the concertina part of your cracker box .

Year of Cheer 

Hello again my crafty friends ....

I just want to show you what we made from ONE 12 x 12 sheet of  the Year of Cheer Designer Paper    ..... We started with a Christmas Cracker using the Envelope Punch Board 

We also made the bow on the front using the Punch board  ... and you can see the beautiful foiled snowflake in gold   only £5.50 for 24 (12 gold and 12 silver ) they really are stunning 

Then we made a little card Tote which holds 2 chocolate's 

 The flower on the front is actually made from the waste punch out of the Christmas cracker 

This one was made by one of my Students Sharon 

Then finally we made a card with the left over strip of DSP and a foil snowflake 

 layers a few circles with the scrap bits and added a sentiment ....

A special Birthday Frame

I had the lovely task of making a special one off box frame Diorama for a lovely customer for her Mums  75th Birthday .....  

Mary is a BIG fan of Gardening, reading and line dancing so I came up with this little Diorama for her ... it was so so much fun to make ....

Some of Mary's favourite books

The shed is made from card as are the plant pots.... I made the spade from cocktail sticks and some thin metal I had ..

UNCLE TED

My uncle Ted has recently been very poorly and had major surgery on his spine so I wanted to make him a little card to cheer him up .... My auntie Gwen was making fun of the fact he had to use a zimmer (walking frame) so that was the first thing I wanted to make ...

The chair is made from a sponge and some fabric 

The fronts of the get well cards are Washi tape 

The paper for the floor is from Stampin' Up 

The table is an inchie from Fernli Designs

The Walking frame is made from BBQ skewers then painted silver 

 I made the box from Stampin' Up Card stock and acetate 

The tag on the box was made using a Stampin' Up punch and a SU sentiment  ... the whole thing is roughly 6 inches x 5 inches (15cm x12.5cm)
