ANOTHER SNEAK PEAK

SNEAK PEEK Number 2 :)

I LOVE bow fronted cards made with Acetate  ... and this Acetate from Crafters Companion is just THE BEST ... it is thick, durable and just down right YUMMY ..  The Die I have used is the CHRISTMAS VILLAGE DIE .... so so versatile  I cut the image twice once with Black Mat Card and once with Centura Pearl White Card then slightly staggered them so it looks like snow is on the rooftops of the buildings  ...

AND this is not JUST a card .... I made a small box base using the Mat Black Card to hold 6 t light candles in and then wrapped it (MATCHBOX STYLE ) with some more of the gorgeous Acetate I stuck the Acetate to the card using the Red Line Tape ... added a small tab to the base of the box so it can easily pulled out to access the candles .... A great way to give a small token gift at Christmas Time ...

Thanks for stopping by ....  Call back later for ANOTHER sneak peek :)

Tina

Create a Card Christmas Range

Hello again ..... Crafters Companion are just about to launch their new range of the Create a Card Christmas dies .... Here is a sneak peek of a few of them ....

I made this decoration using an old Coffee Mate Tin (which my neighbour very kindly saves for me )  I cut out the Die  (The die I used for this is the CHRISTMAS VILLAGE Die) on some Core'dinations card and backed it using the Snowflake Acetate .... I painted the inside of the tin with Black Gesso ... I then marked and cut out a section of the Tin and used Red Line Tape to stick the Die cut to the tin over the opening .  I then decorated the rest of the outside of the tin with Christmas papers

On the lid which was gold plastic  I coloured the whole thing using a black Sharpie pen.  I used the Die'sire Quilling range of dies to make the flowers on the top  ( Rose - Large and Small- and the Stamen Die ...) I also cut out some Ivy and Holly leaves using the Die'sire Range and glued these to the top of the lid using the Collalls 3D Glue (That stuff is AMAZING and I LOVE it)   I found a spray of pearls and also glued this under one of the flowers

Inside the tin I lined it with some Wadding fabric (which looks like snow) and added a LED T LIGHT which changes colours ..... I hope you agree with me that when lit it looks really cool ... but also looks good as a decoration during the day when the T Light is switched off .
