LEJ DESIGNS CHALLENGE

Hello again everyone well as the heading says LEJ Designs new challenge has gone live today .... the theme this week is 'Emboss it'.

If you read my last post you will be aware that it was my friend Sandra's birthday and I made all her presents for her so to stay with this I decided to make the gift bag too .... You know when you come to the end of a roll of gift wrap and you get either think paper/card rolled up?  Well thats what I made the bag from ... I saved it from Christmas knowing that it would come in handy one day ....
once I decided how big I wanted the bag the rest was easy .... sorry but I didn't do any measuring  I tend to work all by eye ... anyway I sprayed the bag with dylusions inks as close to a flower shape I could using the London blue and the orange ... I wanted a flower as I used one of my favorite LEJ Designs Digi's called Daisies this is such a versatile image .... Just change the colour and it looks totally different . ... I printed the image in 2 different sizes and fussy cut them out, curled the petals using the edge of my bone folder then glued them together and added a button in the centre.

The handle I made from string which I just platted together... the bag tag was blue pearlised card put through one of my embossing folders with a geometric design then I mat and layered white and orange card with the words 'Happy Birthday' on them ... it was a nice sturdy gift bag and was so easy to make so it could fit with my colour scheme.... LEJ Designs has loads of images to suit many different occasions and are sold at a great price.

Stop by and have a look what is available and don't forget to join in for your chance to win
